Oakwood UMC is a participant in the community-wide initiative 40 Developmental Assets.

Many area community groups utilize the OUMC facilities including: Boy Scouts, Girl Scouts, Basketball Groups, Moms Groups, Homeschool Groups, and Summer Camps
Weddings
- We accept non-member weddings
- Traditional Sanctuary that comfortably seats about 220
- Pre-marriage sessions – informational, fun, and bring couples closer together
- Unfortunately, we are currently not handicap accessible
