2009 Lenten Study – Living Your Strengths
Searching for a better sense of your place in this life? This study will help you do the kind of self-work necessary to finding the type of vocational, community service or church work that leaves you ‘alive and on fire’ for this life. It is based on the following beliefs about God…
- God has created us in his image; therefore we have something powerful to offer the world.
- God has given each of us unique gifts and talents; therefore we must do the self work to find out the types of things God has given us the capability to do.
- God has called us to live with excitement and energy; therefore we seek the types of activities that bring us satisfaction and energize us.
This class was conceived by a pastor, a teacher and a human resource executive who feel strongly about helping others release their God potential. It includes creative, hands on exercises in self-discovery. The class runs the six Saturdays in Lent (February 28th through March 4th) from 9:30am to 11:00am.
